Here is our first initial Moodboard final idea for our 10 second animation ident for E4. It consists of drawings and sketches of objects to be included in the animation and buzzwords of programmes which are shown on the channel. This helped us to further plan out our 'Storyboard' which we then drew out next.

Here is a copy of the notes we wrote down to help us with our pitch. We started to talk about our genuine idea and then about our conclusions of our research. This helped us plan out in what order we would talk about our ideas for the E4 Ident.

Project Evaluation
Me and Simon chose this idea for our final E4 Ident because we thought it would appeal to ours and E4s audience as we researched and and received results from the questionnaire. The bubble gum that we used is made by the brand 'Hubba Bubba' which is usually sold in sweet shops and convenience stores, often bought by the younger generation which happens to be our target audience. Before this we thought of two more ideas and storyboards but they were less able to be produced. They were a bag falling over and the contence of the bag falls out. then the next one is lego men building the E4 logo out of lego.
Our initial idea was to display the E4 logo on the bubble as it grew in size, but due to complications in the bubble's strength we had to alter it slightly by displaying the logo just at the end as the bubble pops. By adding sound effects to the animation afterwards we were able to achieve the same sounds which occurred when we took the photos which makes the ident more fun than if it had music.
I think that our pair worked well together because we both liked and agreed on the same ideas, both willing to make our final ident work successfully and we both work well as team to complete our animation well. We felt happy with the final edited ident because it had turned out a little better than we had thought because we had less complications during the production than expected.
The feedback we received from our audience was both positive and negative. The overall thought was that the idea was successful but it was poorly executed. It was suggested that we use a balloon instead of bubblegum because we could have made the bubbles larger to cover the face.
